The Korean device was praised for the professional mode of the main camera, the portrait mode of the selfie camera and the availability of shooting video in 8K resolution

A journalist from the well-known American online technology publication The Verge made a detailed comparison of photos taken with the main and front cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones.

A total of 1000 images were analyzed. For accuracy, all three devices were attached to the same tripod. Recall what cameras these three devices are equipped with. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra received a quadruple main camera with sensors with a resolution of 108 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP and a 40-megapixel front camera with autofocus.

The iPhone 14 Pro has a 48MP main camera + 12MP ultra-wide-angle and also a 12MP telephoto sensor, as well as a 12MP front camera. Google Pixel 7 Pro received a triple main camera of 50 MP + 12 MP + 48 MP and a custom-resolution front camera of 10.8 megapixels.
